A few months back I went to Cedar Creek Falls at Mt Tamborine and and really enjoyed it. I wrote a guest post about it over at Families Magazine. It’s a great option for an easy day trip from Brisbane for anyone wanting a bit of tranquillity. Just make sure you don’t forget your picnic!
Check out my post on the Families Magazine site here.
If you’d just like to see more photos of Cedar Creek Falls, then here they are:
Info board at the car park
Big wide tar-sealed pathway that leads to the lookout
The expansive picnic area with tables and BBQ’s
A much more narrow walk way leads from the lookout down to the bottom of the Cedar Creek Falls and the swimming holes
The main swimming hole
The other swimming holes are further down
